Fizzco’s Director Finalist for Business Award.
Our company director, Wendy Clarkson, has been shortlisted for Business Leader of the Year for the Lincolnshire Business Excellence Awards.
Since joining the business, Wendy has transformed Fizzco into the market leader it is today. Wendy joined in 2006 whilst it was under the ownership of W&AC Rose (Farms) Ltd. She was the 5th member of staff, and the turnover was just £500k. As a direct result of her actions and business development plans, Fizzco now has an annual turnover of over £2Million a year, three warehouses spanning over 20,000sqft and over 16 permeant-year-round staff members. In 2020 Wendy became the sole owner of Fizzco and, in 2021, led the business to achieve its most remarkable growth to date. Not only surviving the COVID-19 Pandemic, but thriving, having maintained consistent growth and strong financial performance.
Over the last year, the business growth and development led by Wendy has seen Fizzco introduce two new brands, offering supplementary services to the core business activities. Fizzco Events is a year-round project management and installation business, and Fizzco Maintenance is a high-level cleaning and site maintenance service. In 2022, Fizzco is set to introduce another brand to the business offering curated by Wendy. Fizzco 360, which is set to launch later this year. The diversification of the business offering has protected jobs, reduced financial risk, increased revenue streams, and ultimately ensured business longevity. Wendy has also facilitated the creation of a sustainable product range. Fizzco’s LED products are entirely dismantlable, recyclable and reusable, from which Wendy established and grew a sustainable product range. This second-hand range features commercial display products that have been reborn and revived. This guarantees that products are upcycled and used multiple times, creating new revenue streams for the business, and reducing environmental damage- A crucial part of Fizzco’s long-term sustainable strategy. In addition, Fizzco’s growth and development have increased the number of Christmas display partnerships, increasing from 32 creative display partners in 2020 to nearly 50 in 2021.
